SEAI EV Charger Grant

The Electric Vehicle Public Charger Grant provides support up to €10,000 for the Dual Socket Charging Point. This initiative is to support the roll out of Electric Chargers in public areas. Local authorities can apply to install charge points on public streets or public car parks which provide overnight parking for local residents.

The EV Public Charger Grant is only open to Local Authorities and County Councils. Typically, the chargers installed will consist primarily of charging posts and lamppost chargers. Grant support is offered for each charge point.
