SEAI Grants for PV Solar Panels Installation

The SEAI grant applies to all homeowners installing PV solar panels. The grant amount depends on the system size you can fit on your roof, with the maximum grant being €2,100 for any system over 4KW. The initial payment is made upfront by the customer, and the grant is claimed back after installation.

The cost of solar panel installation varies depending on the construction of the house. For example, a three-story house requires fixed scaffolding, whereas a single-story bungalow only needs a mobile scaffold tower, reducing costs.

Roof design is also a crucial factor. The number of PV solar panels you can fit, and the roof’s orientation (south/east/west) affects installation. For example, a 10-panel system with a hybrid inverter (allowing for future battery storage) costs €7,200. With the full grant of €2,100, the final cost to the client is €5,100.

  My Zappi recently developed a fault, and having purchased it originally through EPower I contacted them for support.  I was never so happy that I chose EPower as my provider. Not alone did I receive a call back almost immediately, Patrick subsequently spent almost 2 hours on a video call troubleshooting and working through the issue. We eventually decided that a service call was required. Derek arrived on site the following day, and all I can say is that the quality of customer service and customer focus is very obviously part of ePower’s mantra.
Within an hour, my unit had been replaced and I was back up and running.

  I bought a wall charger from ePower approx 3 years ago. They made the whole process so easy and simple from initial sales call to implementation. They also did all the core work with the grant paper work. Perfect. Now 3 years later I ran into issues with the charger, usually at this point, the after sales service of a company is tested. I'm lucky with ePower and how they deal with customers. I had a very nice person called Patrick handle my case. He acted very professionally and really acted on my behave with the original manufacturer who was dealing with the issue. In the end, it was Patrick and ePower who solved my issue with the charger not the manufacturer. Patrick and ePower had every right  to blame the manufacturer, as it was solely a hardware issue. They didn't. Thanks to the efforts of ePower and Patrick, I now have a brand new wall charger. I'm so happy with this company and the service they provided me.   Really impressed with the folk from ePower; just had my charger installed and noticed my car was charging very slowly.
